FSSAI has constituted Scientific Panel on Methods of Sampling and Analysis to revise existing testing methodologies and incorporate new test methods for analysis of various new parameters. Terms of Reference (TOR) of the Scientific Panel is to review all aspects of analytical methods used in food and sampling of food; including the test methods required to ensure that the commodity conforms to requisite standards. The constitution of the Scientific Panel is available on official website of Fssai.
FSSAI has also constituted a Method Review Group to standardize and validate methods and look into the documents and also contributes to FSSAI methods manual. Terms of Reference (TOR) of the group is-
