How to determine the shelf life of a ready-to-eat-food?
The DGFASLI is an attached office of the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India and serves as a technical arm to assist the Ministry in formulating national policies on occupational safety and health in factories and docks. It also advises factories on various problems concerning safety, health, efficiency and well – being of the persons at work places. DGFASLI is a multi-disciplinary organization.
The DGFASLI headquarters Mumbai maintains overall liaison with its Central and Regional Labour Institutes, frames policy, plans and executes the program concerning the organization on matters pertaining to safety, health and welfare of workers in industries and docks and implements technical projects and liaises with national and international agencies.
Any factory employing more than 10 employees must obtain Factory License and be abide by respective State Factory Rules for employee safety, health, wellness.
